Jason Paige
Jason Paige is a talented voice artist who has sung innumerous jingles and even been on tour with such artists as Enrique Iglesias, Ashanti, and Ricky Martin. His ever-famous solo, however, is the Pokémon Theme.
His voice writing and production successfully spans many creative frontiers of music and theatre from Pop to Jazz, Hip-Hop to Rock, Soul to Country and beyond. Jason’s one-man show, performed at the 2007 L.A. Comedy festival, is filled with socio-political sexual-logical musical parody, confessions, and impersonations. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a vocalist Jason shared the stage with Michael Jackson as the rap soloist for the hit song Black or White in Michael Jacksons 30th Anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden. He can be heard on Metaloafs Bat outta hell 3, and the up n coming Scorpions Hour 1, Frankie Valle CD. He has beatboxed with Aerosmith and has performed with Enrique Iglesias on tour, television and can be heard on 7, Enriques CD. He performed with Liza Minelli, in Lizas Back at Town Hall, Ashanti at the Grammy Awards, and many others including Ray Charles, Luther Vandross, Mark Anthony, Ricky Martin, Usher and Patti LaBelle to name a few. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jason sings 100 + jingles every year. Some highlights include Pepto Bizmol's "Nausea Heartburn Indigestion" , Mountain Dew’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”, Subway’s “Eat Fresh”, Bounty's "Quilted Quicker Picker-Upper", US Army's "Be All the You Can Be" and the theme to the cartoon phenomenon “Pokemon” which was a 1 Billboard children’s single and scores the 1 most viewed/immitated video of all time on YouTube and is played by millions on Guitar Hero. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As a writer/producer, he co-wrote for the scorpions with Marti Frederiksen, James Michael, and with Eric Bazilian, Russ Irwin and Desmond Child penned the Scorpions anthemic ballad “The Future Never Dies” spearheading their latest concept CD "Humanity Hour 1". He’s produced Billboards 1 Charting Dance Artist Becky Baeling, “Wicked” Broadway sensation Shoshanna Bean, Michael Weaver in “The New Black”, and co-produced Suzie Mcneil with Marti Frederiksen. He co-wrote the last “Lego-mania” jingle and a song in the Fox movie “Club Dread”, and has supplied songs for MTV’s hit “Rob N Big”. He produced “The What’s Up Show”, his own music/comedy sketch show on Manhattan cable TV and live in NYC clubs. He has co-written two musicals, “BOX” and “Writing Pictures” produced at Hartford’s Bushnell Theatre for Black History month, based on Harriet Beecher Stowe’s “Uncle Toms Cabin”. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Theatrically Jason originated the role of Evel in the L.A. world premier of “Evel Knievel the Rock Opera”. He produced and starred in Orchestre Surreal’s “Concerto For the Committed” at L.A.’s prestigious Ford Amphitheatre aired on LA 36 and fronted their 46th Annual L.A. Holiday Celebration at the Dorothy Chandler Theatre, aired on PBS TV. He opened the Premier of “Funny Business” at the Coronet theatre in L.A. to rave reviews. He was in the 25th anniversary National tour of “Hair”. He starred as Jesus in Steven Schwart’s “Godspell” at the Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. and Judas in Webber’s “JC Superstar” at Cherry County Playhouse. He sang along side of Peter Frampton in the "British Rock Symphony" At the Beacon theatre. Jason has been in many Broadway and Off Broadway workshops.
